Circuit Scribe started as a concept to turn a conductive ink developed by a university lab into a product for consumers and educators to learn and teach with. Through tireless efforts the product was refined to work without cables and wires, and in fall 2013 was launched as a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for production. The Circuit Scribe pen receive a huge following and was funded with a great reception. Now, it is available as a teaching and learning tool, used to understand electricity and the basics of circuitry.
