Inside the box you will find 54 beautifully sculpted plastic Citadel miniatures representing the Orcish armies led by Gothmog who wish to seize the vital city of Osgiliath and the city’s stoic defenders – the valiant Faramir and his beleaguered band of warriors. You’ll also get an updated 224-page Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game rules manual, collecting all the information you need to play straight out of the box, alongside a scenario booklet, dice, and a range ruler.

The box also contains a stunning set of scenery, which you can use to recreate the ruins of Osgiliath and provide cover or vantage points for your models. They will look right at home next to the existing Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game scenery pieces, allowing you to create epic battlefields as you add to your collection.

Description:

Begin an epic adventure with Lord of the Rings: Middle Earth Battle Of Osgiliath Box Set! Osgiliath, the first capital of Gondor, is now a shattered husk spanning both sides of the Anduin river. A detachment of Sauron’s forces now controls this sprawling ruin – this desolation is the setting of the fantastic new Battle of Osgiliath boxed game for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game.

Faramir and Gothmog are your armies’ leaders, and behind them are a host of mighty warriors. Madril, Captain of Ithilien; Damrod, Ranger of Ithilien; 12 Warriors of Minas Tirith and 12 Rangers of Gondor fight on the side of Good. Championing the forces of Evil, Gothmog is presented both on foot and also mounted on a savage Warg. His furious assault on the city is backed up by 24 Morannon Orcs and a mighty Mordor Troll, all of which provides a force to be reckoned with.
